Design, simulation, and characterization of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) including, gyroscopes, accelerometers, RF switches, etc.; design and implementation of sensor control algorithms in both analog and digital circuitry; new fabrication materials and methods for next generation and bio-compatible and implantable MEMS; and energy harvesting MEMS and storage methods for ultra-portable sensors and energy efficient systems.
